Cookie policy
What we store on your device, what each kind is for, and how to change your mind whenever you like.
What cookies are
Cookies are small files a website stores on your device. Similar technologies — local storage, pixels and tags — do much the same thing, and everything in this policy applies to them too. Some are needed for the shop to work at all; the rest only run if you agree.
Your choice
The first time you visit, a banner asks what you are happy with. Essential cookies are always on because the shop cannot function without them. Analytics and marketing cookies are only set if you accept them, and declining them costs you nothing — you can shop exactly as before.
You can change or withdraw your choice at any time, here or from the link at the bottom of any page.
The categories we use
- Strictly necessary — remember what is in your bag, keep you signed in, secure checkout and record your cookie choice. These do not need consent and cannot be switched off.
- Analytics — tell us, in aggregate, which pages are visited and where people leave, so we can improve the shop. Set only with your consent.
- Marketing — used to measure whether an advert led to a visit or an order, and to show you relevant advertising on other platforms. Set only with your consent.
- Preferences — remember choices such as your region or display settings, so you do not have to set them again.
Cookies set by others
Some cookies are set by the suppliers who make the shop work rather than by us: our payment provider, which uses them to secure your payment and prevent fraud; our hosting and ecommerce platform; and, where you have consented, our analytics and advertising partners. Those suppliers process the data under their own privacy notices, and we only enable the optional ones after you accept them.
How long they last
Session cookies disappear when you close your browser. Persistent cookies stay for a set period — your cookie choice is remembered for twelve months, after which we ask again. Analytics and marketing cookies typically last between a few days and two years, depending on the provider.
Managing cookies in your browser
Every major browser lets you see which cookies are stored, delete them, and block new ones, usually under settings for privacy or site data. Blocking everything will stop the bag and checkout from working properly, since those rely on essential cookies.
More information
What we do with the data behind these cookies is described in our privacy policy. If you have a question about either, write to our contact page.
